What to expect from your cleaning appointment and how to get the most out of your service

We know that it can be nerve-wracking the first time you book a service to have strangers come clean your home. Never fear! Here are the most common questions we hear from first-timers, and some tips to get the most out of your cleaning service:

First, the estimate request: Your initial contact with Cleaning Solutions by Panther Enterprises will be either by phone or through our web-form, to get an estimate request. Sending a web-form will expedite the process, but we’ll still have to talk to you by phone to go over all the details, give you your quote and then set an appointment.

We’ll collect all the necessary information from you and explain how our service works. You can decide whether you want to request optional services like oven or fridge clean-out or linen changes. If there is a specific day you need for your service, let us know right away, so we can check our calendar first thing.

The first 4 to 6 cleanings we schedule your home for basic cleaning, and we will start the "Deep Clean" process to get your home as clean as possible. Deep Cleaning includes all applicable services included in our Basic Cleaning Service as well as behind all major appliances and behind and under all (movable) furniture. Our cleaning team will get everything, "top to bottom". We start at the top with the ceiling fans & light fixtures and work our way down to the floors. Special attention is given to corners, edges and all those other places that dirt hides! Once the initial 4-6 cleanings are complete, your house will be under control and we start our maintain mode which keeps your house completely deep cleaned all the time.

We bring all of our own cleaning products and tools, including top-rated Kirby Ultimate G series vacuums with HEPA filters. Our cleaning system combines performance, safety and economy. Cleaning products we use were created by Ecolab, one of the world's largest manufacturers of cleaning products used by major hotel chains, four star resorts, top restaurant chains, hospitals, grocery stores, child care centers, and amusement parks around the world. While our two-person-crew is at your house (usually 3 to 4 hours for a first-time clean), we will take up the kitchen and bathroom areas for almost the entire time. Most clients choose to leave the house once they’ve met the crew and showed them the house. Others stay and work in a home office.

 Who comes to my home?

We are family owned and operated. We have several cleaning specialists who work in with me. Once your home is assigned to a cleaning team it will never change. I will never allow another cleaning team to come to your home because I feel once a cleaning team is assigned to a particular home that team is familiar with the home better than anyone else. A team of 1 or 2 person/s will be assigned per customer.

Can I Have the same cleaning consultant if I use your services on a regular basis?

We always strive to keep your same experience consistent. Many of our clients become attached to specific cleaning consultants after even just one appointment! If you book appointments with us on a recurring basis (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), we will schedule the same cleaning consultant for each appointment.

How do I set up my cleaning schedule?

We’re able to schedule appointments when we do the in home estimate. Or you can call us and we’ll set it up over the phone. We work Monday through Friday.

Do I have to be there?

It’s completely up to you. Many of our clients are at work or running errands while we clean. Keys left with us are coded by number only, kept in a lock box, and only taken out the day of the cleaning. The master key log is kept under password.

How do I pay?

You may leave a check made out to Panther Enterprises at the end of each cleaning.

What if I have to skip this week’s cleaning?

Not to worry, it happens! Sometimes our schedule gets tight so it might not be possible to reschedule until the next cleaning. We do not have a cancellation penalty.

How much do you charge?

We estimate each home individually. The differences in cleaning time caused by furniture, artwork, children, pets and other variables can make quite a difference. We want to be sure that any of your special needs are accounted for, also. When you call us, we will schedule an appointment for a no-obligation estimate. We'll look at each room and discuss with you the tasks that are required and explain exactly what we will do. Then we'll finish up with a written estimate. You'll find us to be affordable, and fair. Will you be able to find someone cheaper? Of course you can, and many of our clients are former customers of those cheap services.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No, not at all. We're happy to earn your business each time we clean, and we've built this company by doing just that. If you do need to cancel or reschedule, we'd appreciate at least a 48 hour notice.

What if I’m not happy with the cleaning?

We guarantee to make it right within 24 hours from the cleaning. Just call us at 903-876-1912 we’ll either make it up on the next visit, or send a team back to your house at your convenience to take care of it. What we won't do is give you the run-around about it.

Do I have to lock up my pets?

We like pets and are happy to have them around, as long as the pets feel the same way! We'd like the opportunity to be introduced to them by you on the first visit, if possible.

Are you reliable?

There are some good reasons why our clients are so impressed. We're reliable! If you're expecting your house to be cleaned on a particular day, we'll be there. If you've ever had housecleaners who only showed up when they felt like it, you know how important this is! We're well trained! Each family member of Panther Enterprises is thoroughly trained in the equipment, chemicals and cleaning system used by our staff.

What does a basic cleaning include?

Our Basic Cleaning includes a thorough cleaning of all surfaces, floors, countertops, baseboards, mirrors, furniture, and windows. Unlike other cleaning services, our cleaning consultants will always clean corners and underneath beds and other furniture. We will move objects on countertops and shelves in order to clean underneath them. Our basic cleaning also includes kitchen and bathroom disinfection. -We also provide our signature amenities of room and area aromatherapy and complete bedroom changing, fluffing, or turn-down service.

What is a deep cleaning?

Our Deep Cleaning service includes everything provided in a Basic Cleaning, and more. This cleaning is very intense and detailed, and requires at least six cleaning appointments. We clean outside of all kitchen appliances (Grease build up - Stuck on food on stovetop, etc.) all cabinetry will be detail clean and disinfect cabinets and drawers for fingerprints, spills, dust, etc. All Woodwork will be detail hand wash baseboards, windowsills, doors and door frames. Ceiling Fans and Light Fixtures detail wash fan blades and attached light fixtures. Bathrooms Soap buildup - Calcium or lime deposits - Hairspray buildup - Extra dirty floors. Plants Hand washing silk flowers and artificial plants. We perform a full dusting and cleaning of all bookcases and CD racks, inside and outside of windows if they are safely accessible from the outside and any other surface that might need cleaning.

What is mildew and how can I get rid of it?

Mildew is a type of fungus that can be found growing on a multitude of surfaces where moisture and temperature levels are high. Mildew can typically be identified by its color ranging from a pinkish-orange to black. Most mildews are caused by an overgrowth of its close cousin, mold.

Our professional housecleaners will be able to impede the growth of mildew by removing the built up food sources that it lives on, such as soap, skin, hair and etc. However, as long as humidity is present, mildew will grow in the area.

To stop the growth of mildew, the area must be kept dry or in many cases, it must be chemically treated. Chlorine bleach is a good sanitizer to use on an infected area.

To reduce the pungent odor of the bleach, dilute it up to 50% with water. The most practical application method would be to lightly spray the mildew affected area. It is not necessary to apply bleach to uninfected areas. Leave the bleach in contact with the surface area for at least an hour. Rinse any area that you will touch in later use. Repeat the application on a bi-weekly basis or when mildew reappears.

While chlorine bleach is not a Green Seal Certified® chemical, it must be used in some severe cases when you or your family’s health is at risk. Because this product is not Green Seal Certified®, The Cleaning Authority does not carry it, but you can find it easily in your local grocery store. We hope the information above explains why mildew is such an on-going challenge. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you have additional questions.

Who provides the supplies and equipment? We will provide all of the cleaning supplies and "tools of our trade." We never use industrial strength chemicals or cleaning solutions to clean your home. If you would prefer to provide the cleaning supplies, just ask us!

What about "special requests?"

We love special requests! Please communicate any additional chores or services or cleaning procedures you desire directly to our office at 903-617-9905. Every effort will be made to accommodate you.

Do you clean windows?

Yes, but only the insides. Check our "Recommended Services" on the main page for outside window cleaners.

What don't you do?

Our employees can not climb higher than a step stool, work outside the home, move furniture, lift any objects over 20 pounds, prepare meals, or provide any pet or children-related services.

 Should I tip the workers for a job well done?

Tipping is neither required nor expected. If you do choose leave a tip (extra cash left on the kitchen counter will always be considered as a tip, we do not provide change) it will be shared equally by your cleaning team. Please be advised that an occasional note to the team when they really impress you will mean a lot.

Can I book someone to clean once every three weeks?

We are happy to book recurring appointments on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accommodate requests for appointments on a different schedule structure.

Simple. We are passionate for cleaning. We are very experienced. That's extremely important when it's time to professionally clean homes. Believe us, it's not a trivial task. There's a lot at stake. It's important that the cleaner knows how to properly clean tiles, floors, marble, stainless steel.

High quality Hardwood floors demand extreme care. Over time, if your wood floors are not properly kept, it can be permanently ruined. How? Just let too much moisture on it for example.

The same applies to stainless steel countertops. Too much friction and they are gone.

What levels of cleanings do you offer?

Light cleaning is what most of the other cleaners offer. That's why they take an hour or two to clean a house. We are different. We offer Deep Cleaning at the same price as regular cleaning. Here how it works. When we start cleaning your Home or Office we start our deep cleaning posses. After the first initial 4 to 6 cleanings and your home is completely deep cleaned, we then start the below schedule each time we clean on a rotating basis to keep your home fully deep cleaned at all times. This is what we call our “maintain mode.”

Thinking of hiring a maid service? You'll want to ask quite a few questions of any cleaning service you are considering in order to help you decide which company is the best fit for your needs and expectations.

A professional maid service will ask a number of questions about your home and your family during the process of building your cleaning estimate, and you should in turn ask questions about the cleaning service. Some are better able to customize their approach to your needs. Ask for a specific cleaning checklist of exactly what your house cleaning will include. Also be sure to ask whether all of the tasks will be performed with each cleaning service, or if some tasks will be rotated from cleaning to cleaning.

If you are extremely particular about how your house cleaning is done, then it is possible that the maid service you hire may do things a little differently than you would do yourself.
