The “legal stuff” seems to always sound nasty and unforgiving. But our lawyer (who we never invite
to fun parties) insists we include it. We are very nice people, who endeavor to treat our customers fairly and respectfully
at all times. We bend over backwards to keep them happy. For the rare times when a customer causes us to incur unreasonable
costs, through no fault of our own, we must advise all customers of the following:
(Privacy Policy) When you request
the quote from Panther Enterprises, we collect your contact and property information in order to give you an accurate estimate.
We don't rent or sell customer information to outside marketers. Panther Enterprises uses a password protected database which
contains personal information about a customer. Personal information is at all times kept confidential and secure.
(Who
will clean my home?) A team of 2 or 3 highly trained and bonded Panther Enterprises employees. All of our employees must pass
a rigorous background criminal investigation conducted by Texas Department of Public Safety (crime records service) Austin,
Texas. Our employees do not drink, eat, smoke or use any of your appliances in your home.
(Reevaluate Rates) Panther
Enterprises reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time it is taking to perform our service to meet
the customer’s standards. Panther Enterprises will contact customer to discuss possible price or service revisions if
the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid.
(Extra Services) If you require extra services or additional
cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time needed at your
home and we can give you a quote for the additional services.
(Cleaning Time) I have been advised that a spring cleaning
may take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. Post construction cleaning, post party cleaning or badly
neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring general cleaning. Panther Enterprises
does not undertake washing dishes (with the exception of loading the dishwasher), or personal laundry, however, excessive
“tidying” is done on a first visit with sufficient time allowed for same.
I accept that Panther Enterprises
does not warrant any particular result, such as a landlord's returned cleaning deposit or "thoroughly clean" premises.
I understand that whilst every effort will be made to achieve the desired result in the time frame ordered, working through
my supplied list of priority items, or through Panther Enterprises. own methods, their responsibility is limited to providing
the cleaning labor for a specified time, and accordingly I understand that completion of all or any tasks scheduled cannot
be guaranteed.
(Scheduling) Panther Enterprises cleaning schedules on a first come basis, all scheduled jobs are subject
to time constraints and job overtures.
(Rescheduling) Panther Enterprises cleaning reserves the right to reschedule
a job or time slot due to acts of god, illness, disease, hospitalization, war famine, drought or other natural disasters.
(Service
charges) Our current pricing structure is as follows: Regular scheduled week day cleanings are billed at an hourly rate of
$27.50 per hour with a 2.00 hour minimum. Weekend cleanings and move-in/out cleanings are billed at $32.00 per hour with a
4 hour minimum. Holidays are billed at an hourly rate of $45.00 per hour with a 4.00 hour minimum. Panther Enterprises charges
$25.00 for any job performed outside a 50-mile radius of our office location. Key Pickup/Return $20.00 No charge if key is
provided during initial interview and is kept on file for future assignments.
(Business Hours) Monday-Friday 8:00 am
to 5:00 pm
(We are closed for most holidays) New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day and Day After, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Day After
(Adjustment) When we first visit your house,
please carefully consider all of the areas you want us to clean, so they are accurately reflected in our scope of cleaning
services. If afterward you think of any changes in the scope of services please notify us at least four days in advance so
that we can consider an adjustment to our cleaning schedule and agreement. Due to scheduling efficiencies, last minute change
requests may not to be able to be accommodated.
(Key) Be sure your home is accessible to us. Most of our clients provide
us with a key. If we are unable to access your house, 50% of your regular cleaning charge for the missed cleaning must be
paid prior to the next cleaning.
(How do you protect my keys?) Your key is identified with only a number - no name or
address. Your key is secured in a locked key storage device to which only our managers have access. The key is issued to the
team leader on the day of your clean. The team leader returns the key at the end of the day and management returns it to the
secured container. A complete key inventory is performed at the end of every business day. In the unlikely event your key
is lost, we will contact you to make appropriate arrangements.
(Payments) Payment is due at time of service in the
form of cash or check. Checks can be made out to Panther Enterprises. We accept many forms of credit cards, or
other types of payments - through Paypal. If we arrive to clean and there is no payment we will contact you immediately
to reschedule your appointment. There is a 50% of the regular fee and must be paid prior to the next cleaning.
(Refunds)
We pride ourselves in giving superior service to our clients. We go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied
with your cleaning service. Since house cleaning is a personalized service, we cannot offer refunds after (3) cleanings. If
you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we
will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.
(Sales Tax) House, Office
and Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is a taxable service whether the job is located in residential or nonresidential property.
(Returned
check fee) a $40.00 fee + $10.00 handling fee will be charged for all returned checks + 6% of unpaid balance.
(Security
alarm) Be sure your security alarm in your home is “off” when we come to clean. Please! (Providing we are not
given your access code.)
(Before crew arrives) We ask that you pick up things before our crew arrives. This will give
us the maximum use of our time to clean your house. If you want us to do it let us know and we will add the necessary extra
time at our regular rates.
(Cancellation) Regular domestic cleaning, office cleaning:
Customer may cancel a cleaning
visit/s by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice. Customer may terminate the whole service by giving two week (14 days)
advanced notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date. Customer agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit
if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Customer agrees to
pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home
to let them in; or problem with customer's keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts
or skills. Customer agrees to pay the full price of one cleaning visit in case of a termination of the service if the customer
has given less than one week advanced notice. Customer has the right to terminate the service without giving one week advanced
notice but by giving 24 hours advanced notice before or immediately after the first cleaning visit only.
(One-off cleaning)
Customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time. Customer agrees to pay $50.00
cancellation fee per cleaner if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Customer agrees to pay $50.00 cancellation fee per cleaner in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned
away; no one home to let them in; or problem with customer's keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any
special efforts or skills.
(Carpet cleaning) Customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior
to the agreed start time. Customer agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the customer cancels or changes
the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Customer agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation
fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available
at customer's premises; or problem with customer's keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special
efforts or skills. If an initial deposit has been paid to Panther Enterprises then the customer agrees that deposit funds
may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
(After Cancellation Of The Cleaning Service) By entering into a service agreement
with Panther Enterprises, the customer agrees that after the termination of the cleaning service he/she will not hire or use
any domestic services provided by a present or past cleaner introduced to the customer by Panther Enterprises. If the customer
does wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner then he/she must pay a referral fee of $3,000.
(One-Off
Cleaning) Panther Enterprises reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client's original requirements
change. Minimum of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies. Customer agrees to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning materials
and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Panther Enterprises. All cleaning
equipment should be safe and in full working order. If the customer does not have cleaning materials and customer asks Panther
Enterprises to purchase said items on their behalf, customer understands that an applicable service charge will be assessed.
If an Panther Enterprises operatives need to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises
where work is to be carried out then a $20.00 charge may apply. The client understands that the price he/she has been quoted
is not for a "package deal" and does not include anything apart from cleaning labour. If any estimates of how long
it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it
takes to clean a home or office of similar size to the customer's, it being difficult to estimate precisely how long such
tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required. The customer is advised that a one-off spring cleaning may
take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. Post Construction Cleaning (After Builders Cleaning), Post
Party Cleaning or Badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring general cleaning.
(Employee Safety) We care about our employees and are very serious about their safety, our employees are instructed
not to lift anything over 35 pounds or climb ladders higher than 2 steps. The exception is if other arrangements have been
made with our office to accommodate your special service needs.
(Personal equipment and or chemicals) Panther Enterprises
provides professional equipment and chemicals for each job with the exception of vacuum cleaner which Owner will supply. Panther
Enterprises will not be held responsible for personal equipment or the results from the use of personal equipment or chemicals
if you choose us to use your personal equipment or chemicals in place of Panther Enterprises.
(Expensive objects) If
you have any irreplaceable, collectable or expensive objects , we ask that these items be secured or put away in order to
avoid painful accidents.
(For your children's safety) we ask that your children be attended to while our staff and equipment
is present.
(The safety of our employees) Panther Enterprises believes that one of its most important functions is
the prevention of accidents and ill health. We do not wish any of our employees or any other persons to suffer as a result
of our activities or work processes. To this end, we intent to comply rigorously with all safety legislation, Codes of Practice
and best guidance and work methods available.
The health and safety policy and manuals we have prepared indicate the
ways in which Panther Enterprises intends to meet with legal requirements.
Legislation requires that, as an employer,
we prepare a statement of general policy with respect to health and safety to our employees, together with details of the
organization and arrangements that we have set up to carry out that policy.
Therefore, we provide, so far as is reasonably
practicable:-
a. a safe system of work
b. safe plant and equipment
c. safe means of handling and transporting
articles, substances and people
d. adequate training, instruction, information and supervision
e. a safe place
of work with safe access and egress
f. a safe and healthy environment
g. adequate welfare facilities
We
also ensure, so far as is reasonable practicable, that the way we carry out our work does not affect the health and safety
of persons who are not employees, for example, visitors or contractors.
It is also recognized that where we produce
articles and substances for use at work, or we erect or install any plant or equipment, we have a duty to ensure the health
and safety of those who use them and make available all the required information for their health and safety.
We remind
you, our employees, of your duty to look after your own health and safety and ensure that you do not endanger others and you
must co-operate with us, as your employer, in meeting our legal obligations.
(Non-cleaning items) Panther Enterprises
reserves the right to not clean items that are: (1) soiled by means of human or pet. They include but are not limited to:
vomit, feces, urine, blood, mucus or any item that can pose a potential health risk. (2) Broken items (3) any item that poses
a potential risk of injury or lose of life.
(Bleach) What NOT to use for cleaning! It's not intended for that use.
Bleach contains no soap or detergent. It only makes things look cleaner by bleaching away the color from dirt and stains.
Bleach is a strong, caustic oxidizer that will damage many surfaces, including wood, paint, finished surfaces, no-wax floors,
and leather. It dulls shiny surfaces such as ceramic tile. It has an unpleasant smell, irritates nasal passages and eyes,
burns skin, will ruin your clothes if splashed or dripped, and will ruin your carpet if spilled. For these reasons, Cleaning
Solutions by Panther Enterprises will not bring bleach or any products with bleach into your home to use as a cleaning
agent, if you request us to use bleach or a specific product with bleach in it, to clean a specific problem in your home,
we will not be responsible for any damage caused by the bleach. If you do have bleach products in your home, please keep all
bleach products you do have out of reach of Panther employees. All employees are thoroughly instructed about bleach and
it’s damaging effect. Please discuss this bleaching policy with your service provider so both parties are clear on the
seriousness of bleach.
(Accidentally damaged) While we make every effort not to break items, accidents do happen. It
is our policy to leave a note if we find that something in your house that was accidentally damaged. Please let us know within
TWO DAYS after the cleaning if you find any damage that you feel was our responsibility. If we are specifically requested
to dust/clean inside of a hutch or china cabinet, dust any computer equipment, or wash dishes. customer agrees not to hold
Panther Enterprises responsible for damage to any article or component. Items not covered are special paintings, artwork,
items of extreme sentimental value, items that are extremely expensive, items that are rare to find, jewelry, cash, coins
and paper money. Panther Enterprises is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item.
All surfaces (i.e., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
(Pets) Please
let us know if your pets are to be kept inside. Our employees should be able to move about to perform their duties freely.
If you are not sure how your pet will react while our employee is in your home, please have your pet put in a place where
both the housekeeper and the pet are most comfortable during the cleaning of your home. We do not clean up after animals.
We will clean up a little spilled kitty litter or food and animal hair.
(Kitchen sinks) Panther Enterprises does not
offer a clean dishes service. Panther Enterprises reserves the right to not clean kitchen sinks if there are dishes in the
sink.
(Cameo cabinets/entertainment centers) Panther Enterprises has a policy and in lei with our insurance company
that all cameo cabinets and closed entertainment centers not be cleaned on the inside. Entertainment centers left open by
the customer will be cleaned.
(Closet) Panther Enterprises has a policy not to open closet doors do to invasion of privacy.
(Large
flat screen TV’s and or plasma TV’s) large flat screen and plasma TV’s require special cleaners and using
the wrong chemical on them will void the factory warranty so due to this Panther Enterprises will not clean the screens of
such TV’s without written instructions and signed consent.
(Specials and discounts) all specials and discount
rates are subject to full completion of terms set forth in written or verbal contract prior to any job performance, cancellation
and or non completion of written or verbal contract will void discount and or special and 100% of job cost will be charged
and due upon completion of last date of service.
